Sound quality isn't perfect, but it's the only rendition I could find with the oboe (my favourite orchestral instrument) solo. It would be equally suitable for a wedding or a funeral. I remember they played it at princess Diana's funeral.

My older daughter used that music as her wedding march, it was played on a violin and organ.

She has good taste. But I hope it was a church organ and not one of these:

Yes it was a church organ in the Chapel of Hobart & William Smith college in Geneva NY the organist was from the college and the violinist was a friend from RIT, I think. That was a few years ago and during the service I was a bit busy with my one grandson, I was holding him and during the service I kept him quiet by letting him shred a flower that he had been given. He pulled the pedals off one at a time and luckily it took him most of the service to do it. The reception was at Ventosa Vineyards which was right across the end of the lake.

I regard David Bowie as an overrated artist. None of his music appealed to me and his album Never Let Me Down (1987) is regarded as one of the worst of all time.

You’re not looking deep enough. Bowie was so slick, he transcended slick.

Just like Iris is so raw, she transcends raw to the same truth that Bowie transcended to.

And these children that you spit on
As they try to change their worlds
Are immune to your consultations
They're quite aware of what they're going through

I suppose there are valid reasons for not believing in God but not for me. Reba is one of my favorite singers and this is a really good song.

Somehow to me, a guy screaming doesn't qualify as music.

Yes I know and that is exactly why it's so tragic.

What do you expect? that I should live down to your expectations?
