A brain needs a break
from too much input
which puts him off

whereas

migratory ants
run in circles
in a spell
of migraine.

Emotions need
ironing
from pushy breaths
by a relaxing
dinosaur.

Aran sweaters with matching hats and socks
Life loops patterning
Cast on
Cast off

Tradition; symbols unwielding
Stiff cables, hard diamonds
Strung out unworn
Fit for foreigners fleeced

Poetry is
like pottery
at times

nice flowers
here and there

unobtrusive,

the meaning meandering
on its own

Tell me the tale again, Bird.
I need to hear it every day,
more than once.

The tale about a mountain
becoming a molehill.

You are so good at it,
it sounds new to me
every time I hear it.

Refrain: Wenn ich ein hübscher kleiner Vogel wär´ ...
by J. Brahms

Don't know her, is she a poet?

Way the forward
A team of biologists
Stepped out of the steam - clean
Out of the suit and into the jeans
Drinks round the corner at Doug's
The conversation turned to work
It was going to be a long night she thought.
If only she could make an excuse to leave she thought.
Just at that moment her phone rang...

Kate G. felt disgust of the world and life in all her cells.
On same days.

You could also call it "ennui", I suppose.

How to preserve the joy of living ? It is difficult sometimes.
D.F. Wallace, who was not religious I suppose, finally turned to .... prayer.

Well, it's not a good outlook to have, one would hope that it would be a period along the way that would mature into something else, like say: potential, for instance.

Potential
Potential you lie there dormant
From a future past
In wait. What is it that
we fall upon you.

Art I started you from a beginning
It has gone long over such strange
waters, through cities of rain and fields
of fire. Sat side by side a jacket of light iron.
From here it's possible to see your path as it's
been possible to see your past. What art you in
the present.
