If I meant Nationalsocialist I would have said that. His campaign rhetoric then, about jobs and American industry and goods--hardly free capitalism. I agree about him not having real political views or opinions though, but doesn't that make him more politician-like, rather than less? Typical that Americans would fixate on him and the Russia bullshit (I wonder how racist that comes across to ordinary Russians?) yet completely accept the deliberate provocation of NK, without quesioning the motive or whom he's the mouthpiece for.Arising_uk wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2017 2:50 pmYup, national socialist but by and large I don't believe he has any real views or opinions on things political he just loves the celebrity.vegetariantaxidermy wrote:...

And, A-UK, you're so British... here, in North America, we would have said "yep" instead of "yup".
I am on the opinion that EchoesOfTheHorizon's main and true challenge against you and your country lies chiefly in grammar and in spelling.
Gospelling. There are a lot of possible corollaries. "Go, spelling out your political and religious indoctrination to the Britons." Or maybe "ghost-spelling: not spelled by the declared speller, but by some unnamed speller whose identity shalt never be revealed, and who collects a nice bundle for his or her spelling services."

The Americans are hankering and harkening back for the good ole days of cold war when there was a specific enemy to hate on all grounds: economic, ideological, political, technological, and religious. So they are trying to sustain that old sweet hatred by their popular opinion on Russia.vegetariantaxidermy wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2017 5:11 pm Typical that Americans would fixate on him and the Russia bullshit (I wonder how racist that comes across to ordinary Russians?) yet completely accept the deliberate provocation of NK, without quesioning the motive or whom he's the mouthpiece for.
North Korea, on the other hand, seems to be an easy military target, hence its popularity for object of American hatred. It's a small one, as easy-to-squash countries go, much easier than Afghanistan or Syria, which bit back rather painfully.

I don't see much resemblance, but it could end up a totalitarian theocracy under Pence.-1- wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2017 6:59 amA-UK, you took the words out of my mouth.Arising_uk wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2017 2:50 pmYup, national socialistvegetariantaxidermy wrote:...

Without resemblance, Pence can't prance his lance. Hence, nothing happens.vegetariantaxidermy wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2017 7:53 am

Basically, I picked up on your (it now seems unintended, but at the time of my posting the above, deemed intended) rhyme of "resemblance ... Pence".
Semantically:
There is no resemblance, so there is no likelihood. Without being very much like Trump, which he is not, Pence can't show the white of his teeth, he can't enact his inner desires, he can't force his will. "He can't prance his lance." He can't shake his metaphoric weapon. Hence, nothing of the sort of stance you express happens.
That's A. The semantics. B. is the rhyming. I liked that.

No, but he will be President if Trump stops being President. He has a long time to go yet and isn't exactly the healthiest looking specimen.-1- wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2017 8:15 amThanks for asking.

Then they should have picked some speciwomen. Although they failed in that in the case of Hillary Cliton, too. Big time. I would have voted for her, too, but she is too old, too... musty-looking if you will. Too... how should i say it... leathery.vegetariantaxidermy wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2017 10:33 am (He) isn't exactly the healthiest looking specimen.

What does it say about the country when those two degenerates were all they had to pick from? And why would you pick someone on their looks? That's just pathetic. She's f'ing 70 years old! What do you expect her to look like? She's a warmongering evil bitch anyway. I liked Bernie Sanders but he didn't have a hope in hell. Arseholes are the fashion trend in the world at this time. Populations have shifted to the 'right'. Odd the way so many humans are only happy being part of a collective blob. The supposedly anti-war hippies of the sixties are now military-worshipping gun-loving neocons.-1- wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2017 10:46 amThen they should have picked some speciwomen. Image is the only way to vote by. This has been a long-established sociopolitical policy.vegetariantaxidermy wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2017 11:09 am

You want to vote because of issues? Kim Campbell has declared, some decades ago, "the issues are too complex for the voters to vote by. The issues are too complex also for political scientists, for geniuses, and for the leaders of the nation. The only way to vote is by looks, image, and blunder." Someone in the press corp asked something to which she answered, "No, not plunder. Blunder. Bee as in Bob. Not Pee as in Peter." Someone in the press corp asked something else, so she said, "No, Peter Watson (Ms. Campbell's right-hand man) has no problem urinating. It is the letter Pee I had wished to emphasize."

Whoever the fuck Kim Campbell is. You talk a load of bollocks.

The US leads the world in arms sales and stirring up trouble so that those arms can be sold. That about sums up the US. Millions of the world's poor dying because of the US arms factory. The United States still supports the manufacture and deployment of land mines FFS.Philosophy Explorer wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2017 12:02 amMy answer is the US is a leading, maybe the leading country in this world.
The youth and not so young of the US buy copious amounts of cocaine from its southern neighbour, Mexico, fueling and feeding the drug cartels, but hey it all works out great, cause then they get to sell arms to the cartels and make shitloads of money!

Simply being picky focusing on the negative. What about the positive qualities of the US?attofishpi wrote: ↑Thu Oct 26, 2017 12:27 pmThe US leads the world in arms sales and stirring up trouble so that those arms can be sold.
