~ The Plunder ~

2016 will see a new high in the opioid death spiral in America.

The latest figures are about to be released. Many people thing America will see an excess of 59,000 individual deaths due to overdose.

I lived through Vietnam. The ten year national tragedy. Within that tragedy America saw about 56,000 American military deaths.

We now surpass the total number of deaths in the ten year Vietnam war EVER YEAR just in overdoses.

The plunder.

There are no jobs anymore; No jobs that support a middle-class family in a middle-class neighborhood with a future that includes traditional retirement packages.

The plunder.

There is a reason for the hopelessness that engulfs the entire industrialized worldwide community.

Economics of access and an explosion of information doesn't seem to initially be able to save us from ourselves.

Selfish, mean, & stupid. That is who we are. Who we will always be.

We have always plundered the other. Now, we are the other.

Multi-national corporations are feeding off of us as we appear to be sucking their hind tit.

Technology is feeding off of us - plundering us as we give our attention.

That is my thesis for this thread. It's open-ended and continuing. Of course it's a vast generalization based upon my singular observations.

: We are now The Plunderer being plundered.

Is there an escape? I don't know. But over 59,000 of my fellow Americans seemed to think there was...

I hope you're right. And I hope an escape won't be found.

This whole thing you presented may be the answer to the questions of overpopulation and to resource depletion, and to water shortages, and to eventual food wars.

The people who have the idea of reaching a certain standard of living before they thing (to use your vernacular) they are ready to establish a family will never establish a family.

NO family, no children.

No children causes reduction of population size.

Which is a good thing. I am happy with this eventuality.

Your in support of a gradual extinction?

Whatever....

I not too long ago went to Cleveland, to go to a wedding just south with a friend, and we decided to go to downtown Vleveland to get something to eat. Most of the middle class has absolutely fled Cleveland and gone out in the direction of Akron, just like how in Detroit it up and moved across county lines.

She is atrocious navigating, I said just take the long roads that aimed at the city, and we would hit a upper scale suburb and see a few restaurants.... last time we went to the downtown area we got stuck eating in a lousy sandwich shop near the rock and roll hall of fame place, and getting a $300 parking ticket, so had no intention going down town.

Every time she tried to make a turn, it was too late to do so and I eventually just said fuck it, just head back towards Youngstown (we live about, 40 minutes south of it). We eventually saw a avenue called Garfield Avenue.... and saw it headed in that direction we tried for earlier, just a bit farther east, I figured we could just jump on a road heading west and find a place to east.

Holy Fucking Shit. I have not seen that sort of destruction since I was in the triangle of death in Iraq. One out of three buildings on that road are completely bombed out looking, scorch marks from fires. Nobody tears them down, they remain up, charcoal looking. I was looking down the side streets, didn't look much better. We looked up at the billboard, big ol' massive abortion sign. Hope, Change We Can Believe In. Obama was gone, still Obama signs up. Liberal Third World Shithole. Kids too poor to have baseballs to play catch with, so they just run about catching bullets instead.

We got down to the end of the street, and it was a big abandoned brick factory, dead end circle drive. We looked (west? towards the city center we presumed) and decided we didn't want to go down that street at all.

Cleveland is turning into the new Detroit.

You can't solve problems in the Liberal fashion. My area until the 1990s was a steel town, had the largest employee owned company in the US, largest steel mill on the planet, largest rail yard owned by one company. Under Bill Clinton's Jihad, the economy in my area was laid to waste. Like a lot of wise and far seeing countries, we had restrictions and trade quotas on essential industries like Steel. The hammer was brought down very, very hard on us, and the town population cut in half in the aftermath. I was a kid at the bus stop, second grade, not able to figure out why the kids were acting so bizarre. Parents turned into drug dealers. No, not black, white. One block from the mill, deep working class area. My town in very quick order went from some liberal socialist paradise always being ranked in Time Magazine as one of the 50 best places to live into a depraved liberal shithole, one that still demanded our alliegance, pushing old lines, but did absolutely nothing for us.

That was the same era Bill tried fixing the economy with Sub Prime Mortgages, and keeping the Iraq war in slow simmer continuation, instead of just ending it with a peace treaty or going all in..... keeping sanctions for his two terms in office. That shit by itself killed and maimed as many Iraqis as it did his other policies here.

We thought stuff would improve a bit under Bush, nothing happened. He ignored us. He wasn't actively hurting us, just ignored us. I ended up joining the Army in his presidency. Came back, town went from bad to worst. Our state bought into the casino bullshit on a scale no other society in the history of man has, not even Macau and Vegas. They passed laws allowing Casinos to be opened in any building, ANY, so long as they had no fewer than five slot machines.... but you couldn't call them a casino, you had to call them Cafes. Why? Cause.

So when I return, my neighborhood of single houses had a casino on practically every corner, lots of drugs, wild demon children running loose unsupervised. A few prostitutes.

Took a while, but eventually the democrats got drummed out of town. Out of state too. The local labor unions even hate them, during the last election the local Steel union head seethed with anger when meeting with them, trying to get support from them for Hillary. My entire state kicked them out, our Governor recently flipped alliegance, and the main senator, Joe Manchin, is actively sending out feelers to see if he too should flip.

I don't really like the republicans, or political parties in general. I'm a strong independent, but I'm absolutely opposed to the absolute disgusting nature of liberalism today. Trying to place everyone in racial blocks, and treating us differently. You only get to be a adult, capable of making your own choices, when it comes to drug use, or having a abortion, becoming gay, everything else requires a strict nanny state supervision. In other words, everything that kills you or collapses the population is freedom of choice, but if you want to go buy a goldfish fuck no, you need a license for that you dirty conservative heathen, you can't be trusted with a 10 cent feeder fish.

So I use solar energy, but I don't advertise it with obvious placements, was purely pragmatic to survive a money crunch during winter when energy went through the roof cost wise. 99% of the locals didn't know about it, I learned from taking a electric course the prices was going up to force people into solar and wind on the east coast, so power plants could sell higher costs of energy to Texas, and Texas could see it to California at a even fucking higher rate, to solve it's own self inflicted energy problem. Nobody here has switched to wind or solar, and the local solar factories are nasty pollution cesspools (people salvage broken solar cells from the waste) cause nobody has that skill set. Nobody trusts it, nobody believes in it, and for good reason, it is high cost to get into, and unreliable, not to mention complicated. I'm the one person in town doing that liberal fantasy, preventing the fake global warming issue, and I absolutely don't believe in it at all. I just needed a independent source of power (installing a new system on my van) but didn't want to give the bad impression that it was a good thing to emulate. When I lived in California, a lot of places had solar, in minuscule quantities, the cost of installation equal to the cost of a new house here back east. Seriously, I can build a house for $20,000. Most people can't afford that, so slap a token cell on the front of the house, in a place everyone can see it, but not in a place that maximizes light exposure. It is a fucking joke, all signaling to others "Look at how Liberal and Good I am". When I lived in San Francisco, I found dead people on occasion, all drug related. People just ignore them thinking they are homeless, but they don't move position from day to night. Never seen such a bad homeless problem, and most of it was drug centered. Something the liberals celebrated.

They also keep the Bay Area racially segregated. I eventually was able to afford a place in Hunter's Point.... Headless Point. They were actively debating leveling the area near the 49ers stadium and build a Sim City Archeology, to solve the local overpopulation, crime and economic issues of the region. I went on Yelp one day to see if any places to hand out existed in the neighborhood, saw a listing that said they had the world's largest game board of the game Mouse Trap down in it, and I was stupid and gullible enough to go walk around the entire area, a whole day, looking for it before it occurred to me that it was sarcasm. Fill it with minorities, and the poor, like Grenfeld Tower in London, and make it unbearable. Same for Oakland across the bridge. World of difference from other areas of the city. City after city, the same pattern.

But when I would travel around my state, where modern politics didn't much touch it, found the opposite. There wasn't a obvious class segregation. In glimmer country, I would find mansions with prize horses, pools, everything trimmed and manicured, right next to little shacks made without nails apparently. Normal neighbors, would see them talking to one another, undoubtedly hunted together. People didn't plot against one another, or blame one another. Ask how someone got the wealth, they earned it, from a family business, etc.

But you get to the big liberal cities, constant class war, demands for equality, chopping off the 1%, even though the people most ferociously telling it tend to be much closer to that 1% than those ignoring it or arguing against it. We can't have any industry, because it has pollution, we can't have tech jobs, because that is for Asia, and we are a first world country, and are trying to climb up the ladder of sophisticated world economies..... so nobody has work. Giant rust best, decay, drug use until death.

I'm tired of it, and I'm ending it. Not taking the suicide route advocated by others here, I mean I aim to collapse the means to the system, systematically uproot the bad system at the very roots. I've had to younger siblings do heroine here. Statistically one is going to die, and I can't figure which will relapse first and die before the other gets the idea it isn't something good or valid. Seen way too many die for a devilish cause. It has absolutely no validity, no point of endearment anymore with me. I absolutely hate liberalism. I'm a paleoconservative, meaning I like the ideals of the early republic, like the nature of the debates and soul searching on a social level we did, I'm not opposed to the concept of liberalism then, but we did stuff like compare it to the history of past civilization and current events, to sociological concepts floating around by the best of philosophers. Today liberalism is a bunch of racist, brain washed lunatics who get upset if you break out of the local group think.

Garfield Avenue.... it is disgusting. Represents everything that is wrong with Liberalism. You can't solve problems by isolating and eliminating races. You can throw catchphrases like free trade of international corporations into the devils pile here, but I don't think sinking trade will make a port city like Cleveland prosper. You gotta protect the most essential industries that support the building blocks of the economy, that allows a country to be independent even when in a depression or under a embargo, and make certain they flourish. Free market adapts to this, servicing these large industries. You don't get rid of cannery, agriculture, steel, mining.... you need those, they keep a society alive. You outsource them, hard to get it back. When the world turns against you, or enter into a Great Depression, you can count on them to rebuild your society.

A lot of multinational corporations do nothing bad. Burger King is a multinational. I've never seen it collapse a local market. Maybe the very first fast food restaurants sunk the local mom and pop diners, but not today. You gotta be reasonable about this, have a game plan based on what industries you protect, what is essential, the fountainhead of the economy, and what can float to meet market demands of the consumer, and give consumers the choice to by foreign goods as well.... trade between nations does a lot to bind them, to prevent wars, as long as it isn't a abuse trade, like the Opium Trade was against the Chinese, or the Chinese trade currently with the US. It needs heavily restructured, but hardly eliminated, for without it, we probably be at war.

Grew-up being a Democrat. Personal freedom & fiscal responsibility. Proud.

Joined six unions within my lifetime. For me I COULD HAVE NOT BETTER SPENT A LIFETIME - MY LIFETIME.

Had SO MUCH FUN working. Had great friends both at-work and in my personal life. And those times & people frequently merged. But most importantly, because I belonged to a union, most specifically, the Sheet Metal Workers Union I developed and maintained a morality that became both a plumb and a compass. To this day Organized Labor is my religion. As in my actual religion.

I see where you are coming from & I know your mindset.

Through tremendous pain and I guess, - a rebirth, I have emerged seven years later to a new type of human being.

I see beyond the dualities that have frozen our once great nation.

From an onlookers perspective America will seem to continue to self implode.

Oddly enough, we will become almost mythicaly spiritual as a nation. Don't think I will live to see that day but I know it will be here.

Slightly beyond what you can see...
