Equality and Diversity

Equality and Diversity
Tyranny legislates morally by class. Moral relativism legislates by moral minimalism. Altruism legislates by moral positivism. Stating the matter in a minimalist fashion.
For altruist society all people are equal by virtue of their common humanity or as homo-sapiens. They have an essential commanality of needs and desires. The needs and desires of children are different to those of adults, but must be taken as equal to those of adults. There will also be differences between people in cultural aptitude and needs which altruist society should cater for equally - within practical limitations.
Equality of the sexes altruistically, is obviously about gender, which exists for the purpose of parent bonding, procreation and subsequent care of children. For this purpose the two sexes are equal, and those who cannot procreate are not equal to those who can. But clearly, subsequent child care may be undertaken by others where unavoidable.
Equality of the sexes in respect of employment generally, will clearly be affected by parental responsibilities, and some employment may be suited only to males or females, or those with no positive gender. Otherwise, employment is not related to gender so that rewards and status relates to them as human beings.
When it comes to the tender matter of culture and ethnicity, this has to be considered within the community or polity and between communities and polities. A community or society is defined by internal needs that differentiate it from other polities. Globally, different communities or polities will have little but an economic basis if the whole of humanity is homogenised culturally and ethnically, as it is becoming with a present emphasis on Afro-Asian influence. If any value is put on diversity, then the various polities in the world need to be ethically equal, but autonomous. There are obvious implications for population control and movement. And that is without mentioning diversity in the natural world, and precautions against environmental ruin.

I suppose "diversity" and "equality" are basically the central slogans of those who desire to overthrow the world leadership of White Western Civilization.

Great topic, but does it not belong to the Politics subforum?
