Scientific and technological progress will bring us continued increase in real wealth far above levels of subsistence.
All we need for that to happen is a stable economy in this country, and in a major part of the world.
We may then find that everything to do with the environment and society, that are currently being depleted, will become of paramount importance for all future generations.
A rush for immediate maximum wealth on the present scale is utterly destructive, especially where this is magnified by increasing population. It is a failed government that has no effective control to stabilise population and to maintain a fully diverse environment With global social diversity between nations.
