What's the most successful form of life?
I'll offer some possibilities:
In terms of intelligence - mankind
In terms of being friendly - cats, dogs and dolphins
In terms of longevity - tardigrades (which I understand can survive 30 years in space) and redwoods.
Just a few examples. What do you think?

Ble-green algae: http://www.ucmp.berkeley.edu/bacteria/cyanointro.html
Been here, in the same form, much longer than other species have existed in any form; self-sufficient; efficient; self-replicating -
don't fight; don't suffer; don't die.

Because it’s growing in there, it could be growing in you.

What this has to do with the OP is beyond me.Walker wrote: ↑Mon Jun 19, 2017 2:34 am The Kombucha blob

Did you notice the date of the article?

Why yes, I did notice. In fact, I posted the article.
If you read the article your doubts would be erased.
I remember the times of the article.
The blob lived then.
The blob lived before me, and you.
The blob lives now, in all who drank of the blob.
The relevance is, if your definition of successful life form is to be found in longevity, so far the blob has you beat.
Thought that was obvious.

The Blob's in a deep freeze or dead now.

Such affirmations are fine as talismans against the monster in the closet, but if they only correlate with delusion what ends the means but more of the same?Philosophy Explorer wrote: ↑Mon Jun 19, 2017 3:57 amThe Blob is dead. That is obvious from the movie.
