Death letters
Written by soldiers, to be read by family, in the event of.
You can google the last letters of servicemen - and be moved. Usually, positive attempting to comfort those left behind, encourage strength and say they died following and loving the life they chose.
Suicide notes: what are they like? Well, google again. Poignant, shocking, lucid, insightful. But only those with clear mind can write so. Unless they are lying. To make people feel better. The others don't write; they just do.
What would a death letter of a so-called 'soldier' of Islam look like?
Don't know. All I can find are live, threatening ones - there has to be some, somewhere...
Then there are those written by Indian muslim soldiers in WW1.
Different.
What about 'soldiers' of life; a person who works diligently for a cause. Or not.
What would you write to sum up the what, why's and wherefores of your life? And perhaps bring comfort.
No answers required. Still thinking.

Death letters straight from your heart.
Re: Death letters
I'm not sure what to write. There are so many reasons to end it all, I can't decide which is my favourite.

Re: Death letters
Truth is, each breath could be your last. The words you write anytime, may be your last words.

I don't want to seem over sensitive but I'm sensing some hostility that I can't account for.

Seem, seem, seem.
Are, are, are.
You seem to be seeing something that isn't there. Your senses seem to be malfunctioning,
Come on, harbal - do we have to do the poet dance all over again.
Just give it up - I want a funny death letter.
If you can't help this damsel in distress, then bugger off.
Oops, incoming hostile. Sound the alarm.
