Are emotions hard to philosophize about?

It seems that way to me due to there being relatively few posts on the subject.

Emotions are axiomatic, and the self (as far as we observe and understand it) is undefined; therefore there is a degree of unmeasurability that manifests as randomness. My post of "Axioms as Randomness" would apply to some small degree on the subject.
