I have a desire to learn, an open mind and a dictionary

Post by Anam Cara »

I was recently blessed with the opportunity of seeing some aspects of myself that opened up a new room in my house of awareness. I have always had a love of books and considered myself somewhat intelligent. I now know that i deprived myself of possible insight as a result of not paying close attention while reading and listening. I also would skim over words unfamiliar to me and instead of looking up the definition, I took it upon myself to guess. So foolish of me! And a little on the arrogant side as well. But no more! I am so grateful to the gentleman who shared some dialetical interchange with me. Something in my brain clicked and I was able to see. I look forward to broadening my awareness and especially excited about learning what has been hiding in plain sight in the English language the whole time.

I feel gracious to be in such good company and look forward to being an active participant ob this forum .

What a lovely introduction. Welcome. It's a bit of a mixed bag here and you might need teeth but WELCOME nonetheless. :)
