What is the most uninteresting number?
Re: What is the most uninteresting number?
0 is the most uninteresting number. Its just a starting point of measure that says nothing qualitative.

4 pages for this well known bad joke...

Re: What is the most uninteresting number?
The list is much, much shorter of numbers that I do find interesting, and for those I find uninteresting, they're equally so.
Re the Wikipedia article, "the smallest uninteresting number is itself interesting because it is the smallest uninteresting number"--that's certainly optimistic. I don't find that interesting at all.

4. It doesn't really have a lot going for it. Three is tidy. Five is useful.

The invention of the zero, by Arab scholars, was possibly the greatest single mathematical invention of all time, enabling mature counting systems in columns, and base numbering systems from decimal to binary to sexagesimal.osgart wrote:0 is the most uninteresting number.
