:) Very talented!
If that was the criteria, I'd never get any glasses of lovely red wine!

Luckily, there are other ways

AS: And don't you just love how cute her personality is? That is what made the performance for me!

Lynn:...always take your own wallet

AS: I used to have this girlfriend when I was young...she made me laugh....she was very outgoing and loved to flirt. One time we went lunch and she was flirting with every guy in the pub. She would smile, wink, and then wave...fingers all a wiggle. I just sat mesmerized by her...she really made it an art.

Anyway...all the guys seemed to love the attention and we had alot of drinks sent our way....but the funniest thing is when the waitress came with the check. I started to get my wallet out... she waved at me and said to me, "No, put that away.." The she turned to the waitress...looked about the room for a guy glancing our way... smiled at him and pointed...and said in the cutest little girl voice, "That man over there will pay for it." Then she smiled and waved sort of a thank you wave.

The waitress went over to the guy and the next thing you know he was opening his wallet! LOL

I slid down in the booth in embarrassment while she flippantly dotted the corners of her mouth with the napkin then got up and sashayed to the exit.

AS:  Oh how wonderful but I would be mortified and could never do that myself - or not deliberately I hope.

I would be torn between being that manipulative, taking advantage of the guy and putting equal rights back to medieval times - which I know is a gross exaggeration of what women's rights were then I confess i.e. ladies wouldn't get out to have boozy lunches - and the guy actually allowing himself to be taken advantage of. Or perhaps envious after all ;) ?

Guys can take the gentlemen role when they are out, including as friends and colleagues, and buy drinks for ladies in their company. I can then find it difficult sometimes to buy drinks in return as they can take offense, yes guys not accepting free booze is strange I agree , so I prefer to give money into the communal kitty for drinks purchases. An exception of course is when I feel in a safe environment and not subject to any perceived expectations. However I can get this wrong on occasion, especially when a successful old flame, happily married for the second time with two children, insists on buying the drinks all evening and is then unwilling for me to leave to catch my last train home. I would expect your friend would be much too sensible and savvy to find herself in such situations  .
