I am thinking of taking a trip to Europe. My girlfriend and I want to travel around to different countries. I have no idea which trains are better to take I see different companies such as eurail and raileurope...but I don't understand the difference. Another problem I have is we will be using someones time share, so we will have to make day trips...so the place we will see must not be over 3 hrs or so away. If we stay in paris for example...which places would be feasible to see in a day? I would like to go to Switzerland...but is that too far for a day trip by train? Should I stay in a more central location in France? Any help would be appreciated.
