Life, to Me, does NOT walk any thing. Human beings and some other animals walk.Dontaskme wrote: ↑Mon Aug 21, 2017 6:55 am Love says 'I am everything.'
Wisdom says 'I am nothing.' Between the two, my life flows.

It means life walks the razor edge between knowing and not-knowing.

If you don't agree, then obviously it means different things to different people, so it would be pointless to ask another.

The world is NOT sane nor insane. People are sometimes sane and sometimes insane.Dontaskme wrote: ↑Mon Aug 21, 2017 6:37 amHow to stay sane in an insane world.ken wrote: ↑Mon Aug 21, 2017 6:13 amDeleting a thread is NOT going to make any person a better philosopher.
As arising_uk alluded to, a moderator deleted that thread because that moderator is a fickle tyrant or that moderator was encouraging the use of the correct subcategories and was fed up with moving posts. Only that moderator knows what the truth is.
That moderator could have kept the thread with a last post suggesting others start a new thread in more appropriate subcategory, and then just lock the thread. That way others would not have to be explaining what that topic was about to others, like you.
How to stay perfect in an imperfect world.
Chuck it in the fuck it bucket and start all over again.

The "world", human beings create, can certainly be imperfect. But human beings can create a much better "world" than the one they have created for themselves at the time when this was written.

Yes, I agree the world is not insane or sane, it's how the people perceive the world that can be perceived as sane or insane.ken wrote: ↑Mon Aug 21, 2017 7:21 am

I can only improve my perception of the world, not the world itself.
Maybe?

Humans and animals ARE life...the last time I looked.
Walking the razor edge of creation, we're all here being at the very edge of our lives.
No one, or thing knows what's going to happen next.

You are reifying the word "life" there is no 'life' just living things.Dontaskme wrote:Humans and animals ARE life...the last time I looked. ...
I'm pretty sure you're going to mention 'nothing', 'knower', 'seer' and 'knowing' again in the future. No one, or thing knows what's going to happen next. ...

Whatever anyone can say is only like reverse engineering what's happening based on what they know. That's not the same as knowing. You cannot know anything before you know. To know anything comes from memory, what's already known. Memory, is knowledge on demand in this immediate not-knowing knowing instant.Arising_uk wrote: ↑Mon Aug 21, 2017 9:39 amI'm pretty sure you're going to mention 'nothing', 'knower', 'seer' and 'knowing' again in the future.

Told you I knew.

Yes, it has to read both ways.
You know you don't know. You don't know you know.

You have it arse about face, one cannot not know something without first having to know it. For example, do not think of a blue kangaroo.
Re: Why Has The Everything Thread Been Deleted
A long time ago I was in a conversation with a Buddhist Priest and he made the statement that water in a stream would change it's nature to flow around a rock in the stream. I said that it was in the nature of water to be able to flow around a rock and there wouldn't need to be any change. The priest though about it a second and then agreed with me.

I'm talking about the Knower that cannot be Known.
There is no Knower.
There's just Knowing.
Knower and Known are Identical.
You are Knowledge not the Knower.
Where does Knowledge come from...it comes from the stream of Not-Knowing...in other words from Nothing and Nowhere, like I've said umpteen times already, from transitory sound heard as words.

Total Make-Belief.

BTW, it's not a ''someone'' talking, it's no thing talking...aka sound.

There could only be a Knower were the Universe actually a conscious entity that knew every thing just like God would
The Universe is not a conscious entity although it has conscious entities within it but their knowledge is rather limited

Re: Why Has The Everything Thread Been Deleted
Could this be the reincarnated ''Everything'' thread here?
It seems to include just about everything.
