Tibet didn't have any big friends.
China said, you're our little buddy now.
And then proceeded to treat Tibet like dirty dogs.
Tibet was polite to China but they didn't suck up like N. Korea,
or like the yapping bully in the gym sucks up when not antagonizing.
The US is a bully? That's rich.
The US is powerful.
If the US ever unleashed, the world would be laid to waste.
Actually you're incorrect, it's always been said, by the U.S. military, that it was number two(2), and that Russia was number one(1), in terms of military might!
If a yapper unleashes it starts biting and infecting everyone in the gym.

What do you call what it did to Iraq? It only picked on Iraq because it was the weakest target. Looks very much like bullying to me.Walker wrote: ↑Sat May 20, 2017 9:42 am Some scientists put cameras on normal housecats and let them out at night.

And what a total load of bollocks that turned out to be as it was just made-up CIA figures to just keep justifying all their budgets.SpheresOfBalance wrote:Actually you're incorrect, it's always been said, by the U.S. military, that it was number two(2), and that Russia was number one(1), in terms of military might!

BS, arising, I meant INTERNALLY, not on the frickin news! In fact I've never heard it said in public by anyone that would actually know!Arising_uk wrote: ↑Sun May 21, 2017 3:42 amAnd what a total load of bollocks that turned out to be as it was just made-up CIA figures to just keep justifying all their budgets.SpheresOfBalance wrote:Actually you're incorrect, it's always been said, by the U.S. military, that it was number two(2), and that Russia was number one(1), in terms of military might!

We've had and examined the figures put forward by the 'intelligence' services during the 'cold war' and now checked them against what we actually know now. Inflated overestimation which one can only assume were put forward to bolster the budget case.SpheresOfBalance wrote:BS, arising, I meant INTERNALLY, not on the frickin news! What, do you have a mouse in your pocket? Like you've had anything to do with such things! Right!

Then I'll summarize for your convenience and leave the implications up to you.SpheresOfBalance wrote: ↑Sun May 21, 2017 2:27 am A lot of typing, saying not much of anything, as usual. Your hypotheticals and analogies are laughable. My experience says otherwise! Every bully I've ever encountered, believed himself capable of physically winning over the bullied. In all cases the bullied were relatively 90lb weaklings. And the bullies always escalated it to physical violence, and they always won! Sorry but empirical evidence trumps fiction, especially that of your minds eye, which has been shown to be slightly eschew!
To repeat, power is impartial.

You are avoiding the point as usual and it appears that along with the philosophers you've also not heard of military historians.SpheresOfBalance wrote:
