Saw a few, when I was young.

I always enjoyed Monty Python a lot more. Fry and Laurie were fun. And even The Two Ronnies had an occasional choice skit.

But Hill...no, not really.

I liked watching Benny Hill myself including Dave Allen at large but that was then. Don't think I'd have the same reaction now.

I felt it was a great insult when Benny Hill was seen as sexist and out of date.
I used to watch it with my grandmother for fuck's sake!

Women were often portrayed as the stronger of the two sexes in most of the sketches with men as weak and pathetic, at the mercy of their primal passions.
Obviously the flash of a stocking was gratuitous - a cheap thrill for the males, but I don't think anything could be considered abusive.

Ditto.

Here's a little reminder of Dave Allen. Marvellous.

I forgot about that one...so long ago! It's one of funniest skits I've ever heard. Must keep this one on file!

Thanks for reminding me.

I didn't get to watch very many shows but I did like Monty Python better. and I enjoyed Rowan and Martin's laugh-in, but all those shows are dated and wouldn't be as funny today.

I see your new little buddy has your back again. Lucky you. He's so intelligent and insightful. Birds of a feather...
And haven't I said over and over that the PC are hypocrites? So no 'prejudiced delusions' on my part dear.

Yes, 'prejudiced delusions' seldom recognize themselves as such.

Have you ever had an original thought? Pompous boring ass. You don't have any value as an opponent in an argument, you never answer questions, and you don't have any valid points (or even any points). You simply appear after nearly every comment I make (which is hardly ever directed at you), with some bitchy comment, then disappear when asked to back it up. I'd love to know where this 'delusion' is. It's a perfectly valid observation. Hobbes is a SJW who sees himself as a champion of equality and women's rights (hmm, who's the deluded one?).
Your whole beef with me is that I despise your evil shit-hole of a country. Well tough titty. If you are the average yank over there then no wonder y'all are so disliked everywhere.

Who to? Does it really seem to you like I care about others' opinions of me on here?
