I know someone who usually interrupts me because something has just occurred to him and he cannot wait. He can then lecture about it for several minutes. It can be a story that I have already heard a number of times.
I feel pushed to the side by such interruptions.
Is it just bad manners or is it a personality disorder that one needs to take into consideration and possibly treat somehow ?

Knock knock. Who's there? The interrupting cow... The interrupting cow whMOO!
I have to admit I interrupt as you say, duszek. I am learning to hand the conversation back to the interrupted when I do it. For me, its not so much that I'm not interested in what the person is saying, but the fact that I am indeed interested in the topic in general, and the person has triggered interest.
