Here is how algebraic notation works for anyone that wishes to play,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Algebraic ... 28chess%29
Here is what I consider the most interesting game ever played,
http://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1259009
This next game is amazing!
http://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1008419
From the game just above,
“In a room set aside for commentaries on the games in progress, two grandmasters were stating, for the benefit of the spectators, that Byrne had a won game. Byrne's reply to Fischer's next move must have been jaw dropping! -- Wade 21... Qd7 And White [ Byrne] resigns.”
Here is a game between
Albert Einstein vs Robert Oppenheimer

Great physicists but horrible chess players!
The debates here at Philosophy Now forums remind me of,

Bill,
I assume your post was related to my question in another thread. Why are men more interested in chess then woman are?

Re: CHESS!
No takers???
Sure I'll be black if that is the problem.
If 1. e4
then my move is 1...e5
If 1.d4
then my move is
1....d5

Re: CHESS!
Humans play differently then computers. Humans rely on pattern recognition. Computers on brute calculating strength. For example imagine a diagonal line of pawns. The pawn on a2 protects the pawn on b3 and b3 protects c4... A computer will form a decision tree that grows expotentionaly. A human knows immediately that if he eats the pawn on a2 the b3 pawn is unprotected... Computer aided games are easy to detect.
Re: CHESS!
Perhaps I will buy myself a chess game for a Christmas present and if so I will play with you.
