David Bowie is not a case for talking about brain surgery

I found this article very disappointing. It's based on a thought experiment about in impossible brain surgery; and talks about the outcomes which are naturally unknowable.
It using this to talk about a completely different type of identity question; that of David Bowie's dramatic creation of his on stage characters.

A completely pointless article. As far as I can see, the incorporation of David Bowie is just an attempt to make what would have otherwise been a mind numbing piece of writing interesting.
