End of Truth and The Future Work of All Science

Post by Montgomery77 »

The limits of truth then are nothing more that the limits of "reality". History shows us past ages and their realities- a limit that each age had to go beyond- into a new reality and limit, which is no limit.

Limits of Truth, At base, accords and concords with the limits of the real. Truth as "accordance", "faithfulness", "Constancy" and "Oneness" with the state of things (reality).

The definition of truth and reality henceforth becomes circular, for the real as realis, res or "state of things", is also the standpoint upon which all defining rest:

1.) the reality of truth (is) the truth of reality, or reality is reality, in that truth contains no ultimate meaning outside the limits of representations of the real.

2.) Nor is it directed theologically by a non-reality or hyper-mind that coordinates its play of truthfulness and falsehood.

For, if it the latter was the truth of truth, the true would not be itself, but rather it would be founded upon a state of non-things and non-realitiy , in a word, "false"- not in accordance with truth (reality).

Further, this type of non-presencing of the present through a transcendent entity in a form that is (outside/inside) reality would produce its own dis-cordance and in-constancy- detached from the faithful repetition of harmoniously re-made real. Non-reality producing what it is not, namely, "reality".

I was just wondering if there is a forum rule about submiting posts while under the influence of drugs or alchohol.

A calming toke of quality home-grown washed down with a soothing glass of red cannot account for this abomination, mate. More likely some kangaroos have broken through the fence and are running loose in the top paddock.

I hope you're wrong about that, Leo, because if there's no substance abuse involved we're looking at quite a serious situation.
