Is Reality a Set?

Post by Justintruth »

Is reality a set? If so, is reality necessarily a set? Also if reality is a set, does the axiom of choice apply to reality? Is materialism the axiom of choice applied to the set of reality?

Perhaps i sould have asked whether the reference of the term reality is a set?

As opposed to a scattered non-collection? Wouldn't even THAT be a set of the non-collected? :)

There can be sets within sets within sets, right? How can something be a set unless more things are known of outside of that set? And what if you look at it one way, and it's one kind of set... but from another angle, parts of that set are contained within other sets?

So... no hard boundaries, perhaps... and it's all connected... manifesting in countless ways? :) Like prisms of light from different angles?

What brilliant insight. Henceforth, let this be known as Lacewings Paradox.

That all depends on what your reaction would be if I did. I don't want to lose any more teeth. :)
