Political Parties Always Espouse High Voter Turnout

Post by bobevenson »

The conceptual American Energy Party, however, pays homage to low voter turnout, encouraging potential voters to stay at home and watch TV, letting the AEP handle these small democratic details.

Since AEP is conceptual, then it couldn't encourage voters to stay home.

Please, obviously this is when the AEP becomes operational and Bob Evenson becomes the most dangerous man in America!

How much money would you need to make it "operational"?

That's how democracy works, Reverend Bob. If your advice to your potential voters is to stay at home and watch TV, you are not enhancing your chances of election.

I think $100,000 would suffice.

Please, the modus operandi of the AEP is the powerful Champagne Sherry Principle of getting people to vote for you and not the candidate.

Apparently, you have no knowledge of the Champagne Sherry Principle, but if you would like an explanation, I'll be happy to oblige.

Bob won't oblige with "The Ouzo Prophecy."

You don't understand why I voted for Champagne Sherry for Homecoming Queen when I have never ever voted in a political election of any kind for anybody else. I was figuratively dragged halfway across campus by her boyfriend who was a friend of mine. Capiche?

You're comparing voting for a homecoming queen with a political election?
