It is certainly normal to tell rude people who make immature, insulting comments, that one does not want to have anything to do with them. If this site actually had a method for completely blocking another user from any and all contact, then one would not have to write comments advising others that their presence is unwanted.
What is not normal is to continue to personally insult another user who has made it clear he wants no contact. That's abnormal. What is not normal is to make unfounded, childish, personal insults, as opposed to arguments that address the merits of someone's comment, on a philosophy forum. That's abnormal.
Fortunately, from the many comments I have seen, I am by no means the only person here who considers your conduct to be abnormal.

One has to wonder how one could see one's comments if one has one 'blocked'.
