Is the US Constitution politically correct?
If not, should its language be rewritten to become politically correct?

Does it still have the bit about three fifths of a person? As I recall it didn't use the N word, but the implication was fairly clear.

Just rewrite your constitution. No need to rewrite the language it was written in.Philosophy Explorer wrote:If not, should its language be rewritten to become politically correct?

I'm sure any variation of correctness would be of absolutely no interest to you.Philosophy Explorer wrote:If not, should its language be rewritten to become politically correct?

It's called inductive reasoning.

The valid premise is that you are indeed a fool.Philosophy Explorer wrote:You need a valid premise fool.bobevenson wrote:It's called inductive reasoning.

A perfect description of you. My premise is I am your master. BTW I'm waiting for you to show up at my door like you promised. I have a nice pink straitjacket waiting for you with some gentlemen who would assist you. They'll take you to your own room where you can work out the imaginary AEP with the help of the doc. You can show him your mystical credentials for all the good that'll do you.bobevenson wrote:The valid premise is that you are indeed a fool.Philosophy Explorer wrote:You need a valid premise fool.bobevenson wrote:It's called inductive reasoning.

It has been - for a couple of decades after it's first publication, and again for a year or two after each amendment. What's correct in the political arena of one generation is incorrect in the next: documents, as well as legislation and law-enforcement, must keep adapting. Is the US Constitution politically correct?
In any case, the case is moot: any incoming SCOTUS will probably overturn half of it and trash what's left.

Re: Is the US Constitution politically correct?
I wonder why the US did away with British royalty. The inauguration is worse than a royal wedding/funeral. Here, the election is held one day, the new PM goes to work the next day. No ridiculous circus. Imagine what all that crap is doing for Trump's already massive ego. He'll jump off Trump Towers next, thinking he can fly (might not be such a bad thing). Btw, there seems to be hardly anyone in the 'crowd'. Is that because the public isn't allowed to watch it? That doesn't seem very democratic or 'free'. Is it a 'by invitation only' parade? There doesn't seem to be any weather either.
Update: queers faux Irish dancing in black leather and nifty black berets. What does it all mean?
Hmm. Meliana seems to hate her husband. What could it mean?
''The leader of the free world''. Is that what you cunts really believe???
