Absolutely. There should be a professional directory too which allows us to inspect who is on our jury and what their credentials are, where they studied, who their friends are and what they get up to on social media (so we can estimate their biases ofc).
if we did all that we would need people with law degrees to be on a jury. The same could be applied to politicians running for office, but then you wouldn't have anyone qualified who wanted the office, just like you do now.
