Marriage is just an institution...

How should society be organised, if at all?

Please, that is a patently dumb statement, and also contradicts the concept that nobody should be discriminated against by the government!
Wrong again. There's marriage penalties and bonuses.
Educate yourself if you can:

Oh Bob, before I forget, if you set it up, you can declare the love doll and the horse as tax deductions.

You fucking wanker.
If it is an institution, it is created, reproduced and promoted by government, and has been since the dawn of time.
If you don't like it then DON"T MARRY, fuckwit!
I'm sorry, but a motherfucking, totalitarian socialist like you can't even figure out what this thread is about!
This thread is about what all your threads are about. A stupid grumpy smelly moron wasting people's time with his idiotic ideas.
Marriage is invented by the state. If you don't like it, don't marry.
Not that any women, not even a dusty old crone with be stupid enough to marry a tosser like you.

The state did not invent marriage, our social institutions did. The government in a free society has absolutely no business being involved in it at all, issuing marriage licenses or granting married people special legal advantages such as tax benefits. P.S. People who use smilies, especially multiple ones are the dregs of society.
