No. Cooperation existed well before humans. Bees and ants have a system of cooperation that the socialists want - one where every individual gives up their liberties and exists only for the purpose of serving their queen (the govt.).Arising_uk wrote:But cooperation came on the scene with human beings and enabled them to become more successful than the other competing animals?Trajk Logik wrote:...
Competition has worked long before humans even came on the scene. As a matter of fact, humans evolved and became successful through competing for resources with other homo species. ...And yet is was socialism that did pretty much all the space firsts, albeit with the know-how of fascism?Competition has always been the catalyst for innovation. In this sense, the free market - free from government intervention and monopolies - is the most progressive economic system as it promotes innovation. Socialism kills innovation and incentive. ...It's not about equal outcomes but equality of opportunity.Socialism will need to control the population to the point of breeding humans and raising them by the state in order to achieve equal outcomes for all.
We already have equal opportunity built into the Constitution. Everyone has the right to life, liberty and their pursuit of happiness. Just because some one says "No" to you doesn't mean you don't have equal opportunities. Everyone has been discriminated against for some reason and has been put down by others. Those that cry about being offended and don't have an opportunity are those that are just wanting a hand-out or special treatment mostly because they were raised by parents who never said "No." to them and expect everyone else to do the same.
