I feel it's just another silly question.

Logic is applied to maths and science as much as it is needed by necessity.

It's maths. Maths without logic is gibberish. Science without logic is just the way it is.

Mathematics is an axiomatic system of logic that uses proof to determine its conclusions
Where as science is an inductive system that uses evidence to determine its conclusions
