Lets say I'm on Facebook and my friend is dying of cancer.

9 out of 10 posts will be "Im praying for you."
But it is a scientific fact prayer does nothing.
1 of those 10 posts will be ignored.
What will be ignored is the Scientific Post saying the cure to cancer.
They will ignore and shun this post, and focus on the prayer, popular posts.
Because science is socially awkward.

And we have to thank Religion for this.

Although really its genetics.
People with retarded genetics are quick to embrace Religion and ignore scientific minds.
