I've seen death as I've held dead things. You can't know this 'concept' 'death' as when you are dead there are no more concepts.
Same goes for birth, no one individual has ever witnessed their own birth...these things are concepts knowledge arising here now in YOU.
Not really as I have it on good authority from my mother that I was born and I can give the same authority to my kids.
You are not a concept, you are prior to the concept, and yet you appear to be the concept in the conception of you. I've explained this many times, and here I am explaining it again. ...
And as I've explained to you the prior is the Body and this 'you' is a combination of memory and language.
Those that are buried are ...Concepts/name-tags, identities....in other words nothing and everything aka infinite life going through it's endless cycle of apparent death and re-birth transforming from one state to another ..but not actually leaving or going nowhere, for there is only now.here being infinite life.
What are being buried are dead bodies and so far we've never seen one re-birth nor any evidence of transformation in the whole history of the human race.
Yes, it's all History. His-Story. All coming from DEAD memories..appearing to be re-born IN THE EVER UNFOLDING NOW
I don't disagree that the past and history is something we can make now but fundamentally disagree that the past is not the past.
To imply something is unknowable is still a known concept, but to reach the place of the non-conceptual the ever present non-conceptual witness state of pure mind..the mind has to unhinge from every thought and concept, and not identify with them, but to watch them come and go without attaching to them, and when that happens, there is direct link to the emptiness in which those thoughts and concepts arise and fall... the mind can apparently do this, and by doing this can enter into the state of pure non-conceptual awareness...aka the stateless state. We do this every night when we fall asleep into dreamless state, so also, it can be done in waking state as well. ...
Yes and how do those who meditate achieve such a state, by training themselves over years to ignore the Body.
The mind that appears to know itself as a person also knows itself as the emptiness in which the concept ''person'' arises.
But only by ignoring the Body in the first place.
So who is that appears to know all this stuff is quite simple ...knowledge knows, and knowledge appears from nothing. .....But, what can the mind do with nothing? ..it can't do anything with nothing, therefore mind makes 'everything up' and is how ''what you are'' becomes KNOWN...as NOTHING AND EVERYTHING. ...
Knowledge doesn't appear from nothing, it comes from being a Body with senses and memory in an external world.
Because the fundamental nature of things is empty. Things can manifest in all their luminosity and un-obstructedness.
Waffle. The fundamental nature of things is that we are a body with senses in an external world.
The finger that points to the sky is not the SKY. ...
Well dur! Why do you think we can point at it?
The idols of Religion are simply pointers to the ETERNAL TRUTH.
'The ETERNAL TRUTH', pray tell?
The signpost is not the destination, it is that which is pointing to the destination that is already here now, the problem is paying too much attention to the signpost while ignoring what it is pointing to. ...
Who doesn't know what a signpost points to?
