Compare the religious nutter on this Forum.
They do not agree on the most basic facts about god, yet they all claim to know His mind.
This does not necessarily mean they are lying - that means intentional deception by telling a story you know not to be true - they might actually believe the stuff they claim. The fact that they all ignore salient logical points at will, and have profound disrespect for evidence, and seem incapable of simple reasoning over key matters points to self deception rather than attempting to deceive others.
The difference to their interlocutors is not less important. They may or not be trying to deceive, or simply in a state of self deception. What is important is that you keep your self respect, logic, and reason firm and do not let yourself succumb to the lure of the promise of eternal life, redemption or any other BS.

They often do not and I was indicating that they would be the only ones to explain their lack of common sense and logic.
They seem dead set on living by what martin Luther said.

I was not placing them in the one religion, but only indicate that they all have the same perpetual lying trait.

What's interesting about this quote is that atheists would never go to any such extreme with what theists believe, not in the Western sphere anyways proving how toxic theism really is.

mayhaps if one preached truth, with honesty a preacher wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.
I would never ever listen to a preacher though, their track record for truth is abysmal.

The point is, that, if there is supposed to be ONE god, then their ought to be ONE religion, and ONE set of beliefs about god.
Try and think this through for a few seconds.
