Jesus seems to hate some things. Do you? Is hate good?

Is there a God? If so, what is She like?

Jesus seems to hate some things. Do you? Is hate good?

Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Jesus seems to be saying that he is promoting division and war with a number of his sayings that pit father against son and brother against brother.

Jesus advocated division, war and hate; even as some think he preached to love our enemies.

Did Jesus hate and is hate thus a good character trait?

Christ's letters to the seven churches (the seven continents of the world) in the book of Revelation, Chapters 2 & 3, are actually God's unified message to mankind, revealed by distilling the message to each church and adding them together in the order of presentation: "It is not enough to merely recognize and hate evil: fear not the tribulation of Satan; fight evil wherever you find it, and do not allow it to flourish; contain evil and overcome it with perseverance and commitment to good."

As usual you totally misconstrue what Jesus said, can you possibly understand what Jesus meant?

Hate, driven by love as a toll against evil.

I never miss a screw.

To your question.

That would depend on the doctor and his argument and which Jesus you know as compared to the one I know. That is the nice thing about archetypal characters, different people see them differently. Which one do you know, the wimp or the warrior?

It's a relative term, sometimes hate is good, sometimes it's bad.
If you don't have getting stung by mosquitoes then you don't see it as a problem, but if you hate it, you may solve the problem in different ways.

Love is like faith as explained by Jesus.

It must be shown by works and deeds.

What do you do for Jesus and want does Jesus do for you.

In reality and not in your imagination please.

If Christian Jesus is the one being discussed, yes.

Not if it is the Gnostic Christian Jesus. He is a Universalist and loves all, not just some.

I don't have anything to offer Jesus except love, in return he gives me a couple of days paid holiday at Christmas and another two at easter.

I was thinking more of the historical Jesus than the manufactured one. Both versions are as compatible as Particle and Anti-particle.

Even the historical one, if we can call him that, is manufactured. Jesus is as Joseph Campbell says, a hero of 1000 faces.
