A divine God would seek personal responsibility in every life and wouldn't be after submission and worship
A divine God would seek personal responsibility in every life and wouldn't be after submission and worship
Many religions do constant worship and submission to a God. But can you imagine a truly innocent and truly compassionate just supreme being. What would this beings attributes be?
Far different is a True God from those of Muslims Christians and Jews. A True God would only care what you deserve by heart alone and would also extend mercy to those whom are able to repent.
A True God's glory would stand glorious all on it's own without demanding fear worship belief conviction or praise. A True God would be omnipotent and not have to do willing sacrifice of innocence for the guilty.
A True God would make His presence known and rule the earth so that no evil is done here.
that's not what we see in reality. So unfortunately we are left without such a being.

Nonsense, worship and praise to such a being would be empty and worthless.osgart wrote: A True God would make His presence known and rule the earth so that no evil is done here.
Re: A divine God would seek personal responsibility in every life and wouldn't be after submission and worship
that's my point. it is entirely meaningless to command worship and throw out ultimatums to people.
God would only seek to create worthy fellowship.
God would only seek to create worthy fellowship.
Re: A divine God would seek personal responsibility in every life and wouldn't be after submission and worship
Oh, gawd. Another case of self-centered anthropomorphism.
Re: A divine God would seek personal responsibility in every life and wouldn't be after submission and worship
What is implicit in the word "God" that suggests that?osgart wrote: God would only seek to create worthy fellowship.
Re: A divine God would seek personal responsibility in every life and wouldn't be after submission and worship
implicit is that God is righteous and perfect
Re: A divine God would seek personal responsibility in every life and wouldn't be after submission and worship
Why does that have to be the case? From where are you getting your information about God?osgart wrote:implicit is that God is righteous and perfect
Re: A divine God would seek personal responsibility in every life and wouldn't be after submission and worship
the Bible claims that God is omnipotent and perfect righteousness. And than to save mankind has to die on a cross.
Re: A divine God would seek personal responsibility in every life and wouldn't be after submission and worship
What way do you have of verifying that? How can you be sure someone didn't just make that up?osgart wrote:the Bible claims that God is omnipotent and perfect righteousness. And than to save mankind has to die on a cross.
Re: A divine God would seek personal responsibility in every life and wouldn't be after submission and worship
my point is to Christians that it is totally made up.
Re: A divine God would seek personal responsibility in every life and wouldn't be after submission and worship
Okay so you don't actually believe " God is omnipotent and perfect righteousness. And than to save mankind has to die on a cross".osgart wrote:my point is to Christians that it is totally made up.
Re: A divine God would seek personal responsibility in every life and wouldn't be after submission and worship
right. chasing fables doesn't make one's condition any better. And than to force it on others is ludicrous.
Re: A divine God would seek personal responsibility in every life and wouldn't be after submission and worship
Why invent God. And how do people get convicted of such babble
Re: A divine God would seek personal responsibility in every life and wouldn't be after submission and worship
So you don't believe in God?osgart wrote:Why invent God. And how do people get convicted of such babble
Re: A divine God would seek personal responsibility in every life and wouldn't be after submission and worship
no I don't. It's wishful thinking. it would be great if there was one. but it ain't so.
evidence suggests we live in an reality far from divine.
