Faith In Mind

Is the mind the same as the body? What is consciousness? Can machines have it?

No.

No one ever comes into existence. All existence is consciousness that cannot be an object.
There is not any "one." Only one One is. :)

Duality causes your inferred existence.

Without an object of awareness: person, place, thing, thought, emotion, sensation or chaos … you do not exist, although the body may still exist.

Change the dualistic cliché to: The lights are on and only one is the home.

Although no ''body'' has ever been seen. ''Body' is only ''known'' by seeing awareness. Seeing cannot know itself as an object because seeing is the emptiness in which an object arises inseparable from that empty seeing...Seer and Seen are mutually arising in the instantaneous moment inseparably one and the other.

The object is there, as it appears to this immediate here seeing awareness.. but there is nothing actually there separate from the here empty awareness aware of what appears to be there... there's no entity there separate from what's already here as awareness except maybe a bunch of sensations, ideas or beliefs mistakenly believed to belong to a separate living entity, when really there's just the awareness knowing experiencing itself, all alone, all one, here now.

The body is an imaged idea known only to awareness, the body in and of itself knows nothing.

Awareness is here looking, it is real, but the object known/seen by awareness are not real ...because the objects known are just empty thoughts, they are many and are always changing, objects are the looked upon inseparable from what's looking upon them which is this changeless and ever present awareness one with the knowing. :D

One being the same as no one.

It's you and only you that is painting the image of God that doesn't give a shit, if that's what you believe to be true about God then stop painting that picture. See that you don't need the image you paint to be what you already are right now which is perfect in every way unless you paint it differently than what it's already being. For what you are is this already self shining, self sufficient empty canvas on which you paint your image. (some people cannot accept that and would rather cling to their self-portrait...snigger! :P

Take no notice of the image you paint, what you are cannot be phase.

Do you really think that any one is going to read what you just typed?
Just a soundcheck
That's all

One is no body.

One searches for their own face and can find only reflections.

I'm talking about the seer seeing itself. The eye cannot see itself because it is not self-aware. It is just an instrument through which we see things. It itself does not see anything, but merely receives and relays impressions. The ''self-aware'' factor comes from the impression made... aka reflection.
