Hydrogen is a colorless, odorless, tasteless gas that, over a period of time, invents language then shortly begins to think about itself.

Re: All You Are...
And hydrogen(1) is just three quarks bound together and an electron.
What makes up quarks and electrons? If they are made of anything, what's it consist of?
We are ... something, but we're not quite sure what.

I'm a fragmented consciousness that will vanish at some point in time. Beyond that, my consciousness does not care.Bill Wiltrack wrote:.

On another note, would you mind not putting your formatting end quote so far down? It causes editing mistakes when I reply.

Well yeah, I like the concept.
Iv'e done this theme better before.
But I've been around a loooong time. Over 4,000 posts. Can't believe it.
Thought I would risk being repetitive, in order to expand the philosophical perspective of some newer members here.
You're welcome!

Re: All You Are...
Holy crap, Bill. So what if you consist of hydrogen? It's the universal starting element. Everything's derived from the first element. And, once your consciousness is gone, it won't be you anymore, as it wasn't you before. Your body is just a temporary configuration. Get over it. It's unimportant.
