Proposition (2)

Is the mind the same as the body? What is consciousness? Can machines have it?

That could be true.

But I feel this is more towards the truth that consciousness seeks adoration, appreciation, adornment, acclaim, praise and so on from others, and that is why the will and love factors etc., are there. Yet, if we feel good about ourself, then we self-compliment ourself. I know you mean that it is complementary to itself, as in a complement not compliment, and that may yet be true in the sense that it validates itself but only using the environment though or how would it? So, even if it exists as a complement to itself, which is to say independent, but independent minds need others, freedom needs others, liberty does not mean we'd be happy walking alone.
