I honestly never seen the effect of it. So I consider it invalid.Arising_uk wrote:Not a tiny bit hex, the core of it but then you'd not know this as you have a limited view of Philosophy, if any view at all other than internet forums. Paine, Bentham, Mills, Marx, Plato, Seneca, Engels, Smith, Rand, etc, etc and et al. But you've probably never read any of them either.HexHammer wrote:Then please spell it out for me!
Or were you talking about how you don't understand how Logic underpins this medium?

How dare you. I have a dog and small grandchildren and they take umbrage at your insinuation.Dalek Prime wrote:Not to a dog, a small child, or Hex.

I was not placed into the same category of imbecile as Hex, as were my family. Presumably I have a category of my own, which suits me better.
Re: Conceptual Atomism - what is the Causal Relation? (Kantian?)
I do know Marx and Plato ..not the others, but I do know logic are used in computers and some maths tasks, but still there's more to philosphy than just mere logic.Arising_uk wrote:Paine, Bentham, Mills, Marx, Plato, Seneca, Engels, Smith, Rand, etc, etc and et al. You couldn't give a simple answer, but immediately resorted to name calling and such, you are pathetic!Obvious Leo wrote:I was not placed into the same category of imbecile as Hex, as were my family. Presumably I have a category of my own, which suits me better.

Such as?HexHammer wrote:... but I do know logic are used in computers and some maths tasks, but still there's more to philosphy than just mere logic.
If you mean the study of academic philosophy then I think the 'more' is the honing of one's skills in thinking, thoughting and communicating, otherwise I think there very little in Philosophy other than the application of Logic.

Reasoning skills are an important skill, there has been many philosophers that did much more than mere logic.Arising_uk wrote:Such as?HexHammer wrote:... but I do know logic are used in computers and some maths tasks, but still there's more to philosphy than just mere logic.
