The circle before a topic, the lines are in some, moving upwards, while other posts the circles are still. Plus in some there is a star. What does this mean? Anyone.

The icon for this thread is static because it only has one page.
But it has a star when you view it because you have posted in here.

Thanks, FlashDangerpants, for clarifying. What about the meaning of scrolling vs. static lines? What does red font indicate?

Please excuse my obvious typo in my previous post. I only wanted to ask why some icons are red and some are not. I meant to delete the question about static & scrolling icons.
