Nothing wrong with subjecting Consciousness to mind games and intellectual exercises, as long as it is not stuffed in a box and thus made disappear from sight.

Mind can imprison as well as liberate itself. Liberating is an act of Will & Love and can thus bring about Selfrealisation.

How about:

mind accumulates and transforms the manifestations of Consciousness - Self is the coordinate and core of mind
