Speaking as a theologian, I think the future of theology lies in its ability to dialogue with science; however, the discussion has to be between civil parties who are not pure fundamentalists. The disciplines overlap at places, like a Venn diagram, but must also be allowed their own domains as well....

keep in mind that when written, the author of revelation had no idea what books would be included in the canon; thus, the appeal to 66 having meaning in gematria reads the book anachronistically.
