Re: Scientific Facts In The Quran

From a Western point of view which means my own view, I appreciate the Koran for its beauty as I do the poetry of Hafez of Shiraz. To embrace ...

Re: Scientific Facts In The Quran

The Bible v The Koran It appears the Koran, contradicts the Bible in many of the details of its stories. Apparently there is enough evidence to support the claim that the Koran may have been tampered with. It doesnt seem reasonable that Christians or Jews could be accused of altering their Scripture...

Re: Two-spirited person problem

Anna Sophia As a transsexual woman it is obvious to me that gender is not learned, it is not a sociological entity. It is a neurobiological state of the brain. and you would be correct. As a heterosexual woman, I am attracted to men. I have no problem, objection or negative attitudes to males who wa...

Philosophy/Psychology books that changed the way you think

The book that began to change the way I think was Memories, Dreams, Reflections by Carl Jung. I read it when I was about 30 something and realised that people are often the victims of being misjudged by others.

Re: Industrial Society Destroys Mind and Environment

Total World Population has not increased ……It has decreased……In fact total world population has been decimated. Not in India. I did not quote World Population I specifically said India. Current Population of India in 2012 1,220,200,000 (1.22 billion) Currently, there are about 51 births in India in...

Re: Industrial Society Destroys Mind and Environment

I have skimmed over your first post and was astounded at the length and breadth of it. Frankly, if you originate from India the solution to your convoluted "war and peace" contribution is stop producing humans or at least produce with discrimination. The birth rate and population explosion...

Re: Your God is your ultimate barrier to finding the Godhead

You know as much about the book of Revelation and "The Ouzo Prophecy" as the man in the moon. No, the man in the moon knows more. Fool. "The man in the moon," that figures coming from you. I know as much as I want to know about "The Ouzo" and that amounts to Zero. &quo...

Re: Falling in love at first sight

resisted our births one after the other, right up till the last minute If you are referring to the actual birth, some women do hold back out of fear and pain, others of course "get on with it as quickly as possible". If it was pain, your mother may have embraced that memory which in turn ...

Re: Falling in love at first sight

Voice of Time wrote in response to the question of mothering. " I think it got more to do with the attitude of the adult, the way all the little things end up being done" My response with hindsight was blinkered and I see some wisdom in VoT's opinion. Of course ideally, a safe, loving, sec...
