Re: why can't there be a perfect argument?

Sometimes arguing will derail the topic not far but the topic must stay the same, and must be comprehended completely. Being rational won't help as they were backed up by reason and logic, which they both backed up by old theories which make them conventional and seem plausible.Which are excuses. A...

I will if you will.
I don't usually say retarded things like you, nor do I say retarded things now, I'm very serious about what I've said!

But it's not actually a cave?
No, nor does people now a day have silver and gold as means of payment, nor blazing swords, it's kinda symbolic language.

Re: My way out of Islam

Jesus will return and make things right! He's going to need a new set of disciples when he gets here, are you interested in being one, Hex? I AM the one! There's parallel prophecies about the end times, the hindus tells about Kalki the 10th avatar of Lord Vishnu the Preserver (Buddha was the 9th av...

Re: My way out of Islam

I never expected to give up my belief someday , or to become non-religious. Because religion is based on fear and islam in particular is well-known regarding that . Yesyes, but let me drive you right back to religion! Scroll down and read the last 8 popes, it's admissible as proof of God as the pop...

Re: Is Bigotry Just A Failure of Imagination?

I think this was turning out to be the consensus before the thread derailed into something a lot less interesting to argue about. Sometimes 'featured articles' in a paper, 'feature' because they are saying something no one else seems to be saying. Often there's a reason no-one else is saying it. :)...

Re: Is Bigotry Just A Failure of Imagination?

The article is made by a half wit! There are much more to the story about 'bigot', lacks of experience and most of all intellect in the sense people has awful analytic skills, most will easily be manipulated to believe in pure nonsense and babble if the source is highly regarded like professors and ...

Re: why God doesn't interfere with humans?

God does indeed interfere with humans! He led Joseph to Egypt to manage the grain, he flooded the world to kill humans. His wrath annihilated Sodom and Gomorrah. What you think of is well described in a song "oh Lord won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz?" Humans want's God to give them things and help t...

Re: philosophy or ethics and critical thinking should go first?

Critical thinking, if the course is what it suggest you should by yourself figure out ethics on a reasonable lvl, but I doubt that and if it was actually a course worth it salt students should easily be able to predict who would win the election Hillbilly or Trumpet, but apparently none could do so,...

Re: Black Hole problems?!??!

Interesting assertion, especially since no spatial extension has ever been measured for matter, so it is interesting to assert that actual volume must be consumed by it. Suppose I drop a 1KG water balloon into a black hole. What would be its finite weight when (what's left of) it reaches the bottom...
