Re: WOKE and proud of it....

More interesting stuff. According to a U of Toronto study (2016), the following four factors were by far the strongest predictors of Wokism: 1. Low verbal intelligence -- the greatest predictor, by far. 2. Being female. 3. Having a female temperament (male gammas, presumably). 4. Having taken even ...

First you'd have to define "significance".

Huh? It's definitely not ethically wrong and only a tiny minority find it morally wrong. Don't confuse having a downside to immorality.

Re: Bear versus man

A lot of 'bear versus man' surveys doing the social media rounds, with the results causing a bit of a stir because most women answered that they would rather come across a bear in the woods than a man (presumably without a handy bear repellent). Not sure I agree with this, and I suspect that the qu...

Re: WOKE and proud of it....

At the current time, woke is a rallying cry for the MAGA crowd. It has lost it's original meaning, from a practical standpoint. Oh?? Have I missed something? What do you mean? A legitimate label, like woke, is initially created by a group to describe themselves. That is, those who are woke define t...

Re: Blog: Practicality. Daily Living. Happily & Less Stressed.

Perhaps I misunderstood. I thought "judging" was judging people, not traffic situations. So I meant the guy in the car judging you (based on your action, or in this case: inaction). I absolutely agree the act of judging others implies you're better than them, which is ego inflating. I als...

Re: Moral Realism Without a God

What do you mean by: "have"? It is author who used 'have' not me. According the video, what the author implied is the question, does moral realism exists without a God or are moral elements objective and real as real things like what science confirms as scientifically real. Putting aside ...

Re: They see gender pay gap as a problem but ...

There are locations and situations that include examples of every possible scenario. There examples of exactly equal pay, of women choosing lower paying professions, of women being paid less for the exact same work, of being passed over for higher paying promotions, of deciding to work fewer hours e...

Re: Blog: Practicality. Daily Living. Happily & Less Stressed.

Hey, nice post. But dude, you've got to try some judging, it so cathartic. Hi there my friend LuckyR. So is pummeling someone's head with a baseball bat. But I would not recommend it. (Usually. Maybe an in-law. LOL!!!) Yes, I agree with it being cathartic. But along with it comes 2 major things rig...

Re: How can You say that God alone is the single cause of creation?[

How? You think up an idea and move your lips. Anyone can say anything. Doesn't really stand up to close scrutiny, which is fine, belief in the absence of evidence (faith) isn't based in logic, by definition. It's all good.
