Re: Do you ever get the urge to kill something...

If a fly comes into my home I may not, but when it touches my food, or sometimes touches me, or if many are making a buzzing noise, I may get the urge to kill them. I sometimes do kill them, but I often regret not just taking them outside and closing the doors/windows.

Re: “You only lose what you cling to.”

I like this idea and feel sometimes we can tend to view our lives/identity based on some of the things we cling to, when sacrifice or giving up in cases can lead to a happier well-being. However, the 'reverse side' of it may be the idea of sacrificing what you love trying to be somebody else, when s...

Re: What is the nature of consciousness

I have an idea kind of like what relativity says about how for instance the time on a clock goes faster if you're lying down than if you were on a plane. Maybe we are all conscious (which seems "obvious", but we may all experience consciousness in different ways like animals with senses we...

Re: Proof that God IS ..in 6 words.

Things are relative, all is process. Process is relative, it's all things. Depends on how you see it. We do not quite understand time. The past, the present and future. All one, yet separate and insubstantial. 6 x 6 I relate with that (but don't know for sure whether I'm interpreting what you said ...

Re: Can we trust our perceptions to tell us what's real?

I think it depends on how you look at it. If something has been observed as trustworthy, it is worth a gamble and may in fact be accurate to your experiences/trusted based on empirical things, but the things we claim are bound to a paradigm which may not be completely accurate (like how things have ...

Everything equal to 0 but with opposing forces

This was something I thought of but didn't apply to the universe today. It's likely logically flawed (I'm no expert in logic at all), and a lot of it is vague but thought I'd share it for discussion and new thought. Assume all energy is equal together as 0. That way matter wouldn't have to be create...
