Re: The meaning of life?

We ask because we are here and there is a reason for it. If but for to know why. If we can't know why, then we make due otherwise. For the sake of what we love, we live. God worth it, or otherwise. make it count nevertheless. If one has able time to know God, where is God? and what's the gain of kno...

Re: How do atheists find meaning in a purposeless universe?

by figuring out what love is. true love actually, not just love. anybody can love, but true love is the noblest of all loves, the most free, the most peaceful, the most inspiring. as an atheist I believe true love is eternal, and we must keep dying til we find it. it's the holy grail, the needle in ...

Re: The Great Unknown is Me - Myself

we assume there are reasons for existence as it is. we by minds own reasons may find ideals and they could come out to be divine; for the benefit of all, and not just the self. the universe hangs on the back of a turtle. and if we find the turtle as it truly is, what better are we for knowing existe...

Re: Is this proof that priests, preachers and imams are all perpetual liars?

isn't it right to prove all things, and test all things for yourself. I don't see any other way. Blind trust is a fool's game. and it is neither good for the truster, nor the trusted. take out your God measuring stick, and see for yourself the very least God should be, and toward all, the believer, ...

Re: Will & Love

Will is the force of creation and Love the force that relates (unites) the manifested. Will & Love are complementary and can be considered the strong force of Consciousness. The strong force expresses as harmony, beauty & joy – the lack of it, as discontinuity, sadness and filth. There is lots of t...

Re: Is this proof that priests, preachers and imams are all perpetual liars?

mayhaps if one preached truth, with honesty a preacher wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.

I would never ever listen to a preacher though, their track record for truth is abysmal.

Re: There ain't nobody in a body

simple enough, I see the body as a concept formed. that don't leave much room for mindlessly coming about. everything about the body is for to do something, and then it does it. I'm amazed how many people avoid this evidential reasoning. they use physical gradualism, and chaos as instruments of crea...

listening to you I feel like I am a marble in a labyrinth, and only what's physical matters. the marble is looking for ultimate reality, and perhaps only the best means of merely surviving. and I wonder what would free this marble? without the mind, you are just a marble. to me the mind liberates as...

Re: The problem of self under materialism

the materialist refers to object, and material always in explanation of self. This is inane reasoning that doesn't come close to explaining love, and thought. no one has proved that love and thought is the product of chemistry, or substance. it only looks that way to them. it's like explaining the m...
