Re: Good Friday

If you write in ordinary English, just as if you were buying something in a shop, your posts would be easier to understand.

Just answer the question mortar man...who is the ''other'' The other is the object you are in relationship with. The object of a subject's relat...

Re: Good Friday

Dontaskme wroteActually, the proof is in the pudding, I would suggest to any one grieving about how shitty life is..to pick up a Nonduality book and study the nature of human suffering and what causes it and how to stop it permanently...but I warn you it's going to take a very lot of hard work and t...

Re: Good Friday

''God who is all knowing awareness is the only knower there is.'' So it is said. However God does not exist. God /Awareness exists. Separation from God does not exist. Not that the reflection can ever separate itself from the mirror, that's just impossible. Waking up from the dream of separation an...

Re: Good Friday

The Bible is a collection from ancient oral traditions. The people who wrote and edited The Bible were not God, but people. The Bible is difficult to interpret and often contradictory. If a good God had planned The Bible He would not have contradicted Himself. It is true that from The Bible scholars...

No.

Same problem arose during maths lesson at school when assigned to study algebra.

King Lear: Why, thou wert better in thy grave than to answer with thy uncovered body this extremity of the skies. Is man no more than this? Consider him well. Thou owest the worm no silk, the beast no hide, the sheep no wool, the cat no perfume. Ha! here's three on 's are sophisticated! Thou art the...

Re: Good Friday

Everyday is a holiday not just specific times of the year. The stories of Jesus Christ are celebrated as religious holidays, but why not move on from these human rituals where we put JC on a pedestal and then continue to live in sin and misery...why not just realise we are the Jesus Christ? and liv...

Re: Who- why- where are we ?

Thing is that I'm not arguing that our perceptions are the same as what is there just that there is something there that is external to our perceptions, i.e. that Idealism is wrong and the reality of our existence is that we are a body with senses in an external world and we can be certain about th...

Re: Who- why- where are we ?

But if by "solitary being" you mean one and only subject , then we have no evidence that the hypothetical one and only subject did not invent objects including social life, language, and language as a social theory. Has solipsism ever been disproved? I think so as this is only one of the ...
