So how's the seasonal flu analogy going HQ? 140,000 deaths and rising and if the US follows us, which seems likely, you'll be looking at anything from 220/300,000 by the time it starts to fall, although sadly, come winter, you may even catch a possible second wave before that.

I am optimistic of what I proposed because this project, i.e. https://www.genome.gov/human-genome-project is already progressing and advancing together with other knowledge and technologies. Interesting example there as the guy who funded the first sequence of the HG did a sneaky thing and went and...

... Who would have thought that 75 years after his death, the laughter continues. https://www.livescience.com/53818-hitler-micropenis.html The comedy is these days masquerading as science. Surely Dr Kramer has something better to do with his time than vent his racist anger at a dead man |(however n...

Re: Morality: The Fact/Opinion Distinction
But it wasn't Peter's definition? It doesn't matter. How you define a "fact" is immaterial if I just showed you a fact - ostensively. I've done that. If you agree that it's a particular example of a fact - then it should satisfy the definition you have for it. And if the ostensive example...

Yep. Here's his definition: A fact is a thing that is known to be consistent with objective reality and can be proven to be true with evidence. Peter, please show us how that works. Here is a fact -----------> The color of this sentence is red. Please show us the evidence to prove that the above fa...
