Re: Deleted 500

Eternal Recurrence is simply an idea we invented. In Nietzsche's version, it was used mostly as a challenge in how much do you love your life if you were informed that it will repeat forever. Recurrence implies a beginning, so eternal recurrance implies a beginning but no ending, which explains the...

Re: Christian Civilization -- The Central Issue

You continually make that comparison (to IC), as if it is a devastating armament. You are both dead ends, that's what you have in common. You, Dubious, have no idea whatever about what is true or not true. If that were true, that would make two of us. The main difference is, whereas you are merely ...

Re: Christian Civilization -- The Central Issue

This is all falsely-premised. Things true in the past, and things true now or in the future, are not superseded by this boyish novelty. You seem stoned on yourself. ...and what was true in the past for at least 1600 years - and not over yet - that the bible was the word of god; that Jesus died for ...

Re: Christian Civilization -- The Central Issue

If morality, for example, is not an absolute rule a universal rule, or not created by an absolutist god, then it must be absolutely nothing, absolute nonsense, a human fabrication. Values are not without value simply because a universal rule doesn't mandate it; that was never the function of a univ...

Re: Deleted 500

This must be how eternal recurrence got started! It never needed to recur since it never changed and therefore remained the same! Feedback: Whatever happened, had to have happened. A wheel must turn before returning. The past changes in the present. Eternal Recurrence is simply an idea we i...

But what happened? You told me to no-longer engage with you and since that warning, What I wrote is what you exclaimed to me on numerous occasions — but you always circle back around! How comforting! It seems we have a working relationship going after all. May it never end. I have to take out my ba...

.... Thanks for sharing the serial number of your model of Butt-Plug. I will be contacting the manufacturer to try to get some answers about why you, a needy user, have not got the calming results to curb your irksome ire. I promise to get back to you later. So hold the fort till then! No freak-out...

Re: Christian Civilization -- The Central Issue

Regarding Trump, it seems the qualifications required for dictatorship are immeasurably less in the U.S. than they ever were in Germany or any of the Axis powers, for that matter. The greatest victory Putin can hope for in his war with Ukraine is to have Trump on his side.

Re: has philosophy lost its way?

A central, if not the main, purpose of the Tractatus was to investigate the limits of language. What can and cannot be said? And when considering things which cannot be said, what is their nature? Wittgenstein argues that philosophy essentially makes attempts to speak about things that are impossib...

Re: Christian Civilization -- The Central Issue

I have no perspective other than what science and nature imply. You're almost laughable in your desperate attempt to become personal and denigrate whatever I say. And I will point out that right there is your problem with understanding revelation. You seem to me to be one so committed to a set of p...
